SEPTEMBER 30, 2008 — Jesse Lee Brackett, 23, and David Lee Brackett, also 23, died early Sunday morning after an accident on Beachwood Drive near Glen Oak Street in Hollywood Hills. The identical twin brothers grew up together in the close knit Beachwood Canyon community of Hollywood Hills where the accident happened. Jesse Brackett, the driver, reportedly lost control of his 1996 Acura Integra and struck a parked U-Haul truck. The accident happened at about 2:35 a.m. Police reported that Jesse, the driver, died instantly. His brother David died at the hospital less than an hour later. The crash is being investigated by the LAPD’s West Traffic Division.
