JUNE 16, 2009 - A pickup truck slammed into the back of a sports utility vehicle at a stop light, leaving five people injured, authorities said. A woman was stopped in the eastbound lanes of Rosedale Highway at the intersection with Old Farm Road when her SUV was rear-ended, according to Bakersfield police. The woman escaped her vehicle shortly before it burst into flames. Two other cars were involved in the accident. The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating the cause of the collision.
