JULY 16, 2009 - A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 10, authorities said. A motorcycle was also reportedly involved in the collision. The crash occurred about 5:15 a.m. in the fast lanes of eastbound I-10, just west of Indian Hill Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol. A Hispanic woman, between the ages of 30 and 45, was declared dead at the scene. Two other victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries, authorities said. Four eastbound lanes were blocked for several hours after the collision. The CHP is investigating the car accident.
