AUGUST 17, 2009 - A 77-year-old man died when the minivan he was driving was broadsided by a sedan at a Riverside County intersection, authorities said. Daniel Finkle of Rancho Mirage was pronounced dead at 2:20 p.m., about 20 minutes after the collision at the intersection of Hargrave and George streets, according to the Riverside County Coroner. The impact caused Finkle’s vehicle to overturn, but he was not ejected. The Banning Police Department is investigating the fatal collision.
