MARY BAJO
In 2011 Mary Bajo joined the firm of Estey & Bomberger and began assisting in the preparation of the trial for a man who was injured while on a construction site. Mary also assisted the trial attorneys during that trial which resulted in an $11.7 million verdict. She recently assisted in the preparation of the trial for a young victim of sexual abuse which resulted in a $23 million verdict.
Since joining the firm, she has been working on personal injury cases including automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, premise liability, and sexual abuse. She has also been heavily involved in the focus groups the firm conducts. Focus groups are a vital part to understanding each case and the clients our firm represents. Focus groups are important because they give the attorneys the opportunity to discuss issues in the case with members of the community here in San Diego, which is invaluable and leads to a deeper understanding and appreciation of each case.
She now works on both individual personal injury cases and the products liability and pharmaceutical mass tort litigation, with a focus on Skechers Toning Shoes, Transvaginal Mesh device cases, and Yaz, Yasmin, and Ocella litigation. Working at Estey & Bomberger has given her the opportunity to fulfill her desire to help people who have been harmed by the negligence and wrongful acts of others. Mary enjoys working at Estey & Bomberger because she gets to work with people who are as passionate as she is about providing help to people who need it.
Mary received her Bachelor of Science from University of Nevada, Reno with a major in Political Science. She was Treasurer of her school’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society. In 2010 she graduated from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. While at McGeroge, Mary worked as a law clerk at Timothy M. Cary and Associates with a focus on public education law. She also worked as an intern for the Sacramento County District Attorney in the misdemeanor and DUI division. Additionally, she worked as an intern in the Capitol for former Assemblyman Anthony Adams.
Ms. Bajo is admitted to the California Bar. She is a member of the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, and the San Diego County Bar Association.
